Firstly have to say our host. Mary was absolutely superb in supplying all of the information prior to our visit, ensuring a smooth transition from the airport to the chalet. There were six of us, we hired a minibus and drove ourselves from the airport, following the direction supplied by Mary, and found the Chalet quite easily, set in a wooded area. It is in a quiet location off the main road but that was perfect for us as we were aiming to be self catering. The chalet was ample sized for our family, warm and cosy with the added bonus of a log fire. Two shower rooms and a further separate WC meant that no one was hanging around waiting. Beds were clean and comfy, including a double sofa bed. Mary responded to all my messages quickly with loads of extra information about the resort including recommendations for restaurants, shops and ski hire. We hired our ski gear from Steve's ski school rentals, who also gave us a great discount for group booking. We did a weekly shop at the supermarkets in Smolyon, about half hour drive. For lunch we stopped at ski centre 2, eating at Alex's pub, great service , lovely food and price...another recommendation from out host!I'd definitely recommend the chalet if you're looking for something for a family and you have access to a vehicle, was absolutely perfect for us and Pamporovo although small was perfect for beginners. We saw deer in the nearby woods and on the slopes. Winter or Summer I imagine this place is magical. Thank you Mary!

We've enjoyed very much our staying for 9 days in July 2013. The staff was very friendly, the restourant chief was really good, our chalet exactly as described, including Internet access. The village was almost unoccupied at this time (the main season is winter) and it was very quite. You need a car there; then a lot of interesting places and trails are available.

The restaurant across the road is as good as any in the village, but do not get into any drinking competitions with the Eastern Europeans, as R found out! My youngest Sophie had ski instruction in the mornings with Natalie, and R had snowboard instruction with Ivan. Both were whizzing down the slopes by the end of the week.  We are interested in another holiday at your Forest Nook chalet and will get in touch again.

The snow conditions over Feb half term were absolutely fantastic! Loads of fluffy white soft stuff, and new snow nearly every day, but not so much to prevent going on the slopes. Excellent tuition at the Snowshack!  I made the black run! The chalet was nice.

We Stayed in Chalet 25 and had a great time. Snow was fantastic and slopes were great for our children who were new to skiing. The Chalet was comfortable and clean with ample space & facilities. Forest Nook 2 was a little way out from the centre. However being away from the town was great for us. Our children loved sledging & bumboarding around the village and the hole place was very peaceful.  Would definately recommend.

We've been to Pamporovo in December and we've stayed there for an entire week. The place is relaxing, quite, away from the noise and the "big city rush". We really charged our batteries.  We've stayed in Chalet 25 Pamporovo Village, a great chalet and well very equipped.
